D90 transfer to Photoshop 7 issues

Hi all,
Just recently, I have been having download problems. My last two photoshoots resulted in only several random pics identified as new pics by Photoshop. I do not believe any settings on either the camera or photoshop have been changed. I was able to download the pics to the computer and then transfer into Photoshop. Does anyone have any idea what may be preventing my entire shoot from being downloaded? I have tried different USB outlets and different cables with the same results. Photoshop will download one, or several photos from the total taken, and when I try again, it states there are no new files.

Possibly a dodgy memory card. Try another card, or formatting the card you have.

What are you using to transfer?

I think the issue may be the card. I was messing with the Menu to familiarize myself with the features and may have changed the picture sequence setting. I am going to try a new card and see what happens.

the D90 resets the numbering on the filename for the pictures everytime you format the memory card, insert a new one, or change active folders..

This can create duplicate filenames. I recently ran into this issue, pictures already on my computer had the same filenames as the new pictures I was importing off the card, thankfully Lightroom fixed this for my automagically.
For you it seems the having duplicate filenames could trick your computer into thinking you've already imported the photo's.

Custom menu option d7 will allow you to change the way the camera numbers files.
