Default Flash Pops Up, but doesnt Fire
Not the way I wanted to spend my 400th post, but, on my D40 the flash will pop up, and do the whole click sound for it wanting to fire, but... literally just doesnt fire off.

I had switched to a red eye flash option, then switched back, and now it wont fire.

it pops, then it clicks again as it wants to make sure its up.

Ive tried in all different modes.
Even in M pushing the flash button, it pops up, but doesnt fire

Ive reset... which might have just done my settings,.. but...

Ive had this under a year and still covered under warranty, but geez....


Any thoughts?

Well.. I have to say.. IT WORKED!

Thanks for the link... the other one I googled I was afraid to check out, but this one had a safe rating ... and so... yeah.. it worked!

Flash is back!
