That looks pretty cool, but I'm wondering if there are any issues with unwanted light coming through the spaces between filter and the integrated hood.

Have you tried the Cokin X-Pro universal adapter? I've seen some reports of success using this with the 14-24.

I don't understand what would be so hard about baffles or a hood arrangement to cover the distance between the filter and the front element.

Default cokin x-pro

dakwegmo:

This is the best thing I have seen with the Coxin Xpro.

Adapting Filters to Fit the Nikon 14-24mm Lens

I was preparing to buy all the items, when suddenly appeared that video.
I has larger spaces to block from light coming from behind. In that link you will see how those spaces are filled with some kind of foam.

Did you found another option online?

Now I think I will wait until June.
