D200: still worth it?

That's high. D200s go for about $650, an Sb-800 for about $400. Batteries aren't much. See if you can't get her down to $1100, at the very most.

eBay is full of bad prices on stuff. You can overpay big time there. Check Nikoncafe.com or fredmiranda.com - $500 to $550 is a good price. Heck Best Buy sold them new a few months ago for something like $595.

The gaffers tape on the grip is there because the rubber started to come loose. Doesn't effect the mechanics of the camera.

This camera has served me well. but I have moved on to the D300 and need to move my D200.
