Nikon d70

Hi guys, i need some advice, i currently have Sony h50 but want to go slr, so i can get a nikon d70 for really cheap, as i do not really have the money for say n d90/d60 would it be a bad move.

I would really like to get some nice clear photos,we do a lot of fly fishing and outdoor stuff so i would later get my self a good zoom lens for birds and so

Would i get good clean crisp pic's with this camera

If you're looking at the D70 due to price, you should throw in the D200 for comparison- I want to say it's newer than the D70 (and therefore has a better sensor, but I may be wrong), and while it was $1700 when it first came out, I've seen it go for $500 regularly on eBay, Craigslist, and UsedCameras.com - The Biggest Selection of Used Cameras and Equipment Online

Just something to think about. It is, afterall, a WHOLE lot more camera.
