Default I don't want a D4

I don't want video, I don't want more MP's, I don't want..whatever is the next greatest.

What I do want is a 12mp high ISO capable crop sensor D2xx.....at a reasonable cost.
I just MUCH prefer the pro bodies...damn the weight.

Oh, and a great High ISO P&S....like an improved G11.

D3s sensor, G11 sized body, pancake lenses (20, 40, 80). Sign me up.

I think Leica makes one.

Okay, D3s Sensor, G11 sized body, pancake lenses (20, 40, 80), less than $10k CAD for the body alone.

I'd jump on one if they were in under the 2k mark for the body and under the 750 mark for the lenses.

That depends greatly on what you're doing with it, and what gear, exactly, you're referring to.

Do we need upDATES on some things? Hell's yes!

Let's see - that comes from someone that makes money selling this new gear - right?

I could give two squats about video. I've got a Sony HD video camera for that. I too would like better high ISO in my D3. I would have preferred the 25mp D3x but like most others, I was boycotting the $8K price tag and opted for the D3. What I'm hoping for in the D4 is the high ISO improvement and 25mp for $5-$6K, then I'll bite and keep my D3 for another lens. I've found myself in too many situations lately where I had the wrong lens mounted at the wrong time.

As far as the weight goes, my biceps have never bulged so much!! "Dude...yer huge!!!"
