I can see it being useful when shooting JPEG, but when shooting RAW, do you use it or just leave it at "normal" and PP images later?
(I've never changed it from "normal".)

It's generally not even applied to the RAW image, just as white balance isn't applied. The settings are saved with the RAW file and some software can read it and apply it if you want.
But if you're shooting RAW, generally you want to make the decisions instead of letting the camera do it. There's nothing in any of those settings you can't do in post, and better. |
