Default Cable Shutter Release

hey guys

I'm after a wired Remote Control for my D300s and just wondered what people use, i don't want to break the bank just something that can successfully fire the shutter and work with Bulb exposure.

many thanks

Simon

Hey Simon,

For the price of the ML-L3 Wireless remote, I wouldn't even bother with a cable. You only have to press once with the ML-L3 to open the shutter and press it again to close the shutterspeed if your in bulb mode.

It's a nice device for self-portrait as well as adding sharpess to your picture since the body is not moving at all (assuming it's on a tripod or sitting on something of course hehehe).

Hope this help

I've been using a cheap ($15) trigger for about a year without any problems. Unless you're looking for something with a timer and other functions built in, there's no reason to pay more than that for a trigger.

The ML-L3 doesn't work with the D300 or D300s.

I have a $10 wired remote from Ebay and I've also been using one of these very cheap wireless remotes and it's been working well.
