I tried downloading Gimp, but it would not work on my iMac. In fact, I tried installing it several times, and kept getting an error message. Are you on a PC? That program was made for PC's mainly. I will wait for Photoshop, and in the meantime continue to play with Lightroom. Thanks, though for the info, and the tips. Cheers.

Hi Prime Time. I really like what you did with my B&W of the glacial lake. It sounds like a Photoshop job, and, unfortunately, I do not have that program yet. You are very insiprational though, and I see myself getting Photosho[p within a year. I'd buy it sooner, but my wife and I are traveling a lot this year and next year! : ) Cheers, mate.

Hi PT, just thought I'd echo the comments of my friend Vin in his recent post. Congratulations, it's a great compliment well deserved.

Personally, i think this gull is stuffed, held in place by a wire(which was cloned out later), which explains the band on the foot( to hold the wire firmly in place.). You positioned the camera in the perfect lighting and angle and took the sharpest focused shot of a dozen.

Although i don't claim to be absolutely certain of my facts

I love this place - thank you my friend
