David,
How cool! Mostly what I do is ensure the crane conforms to all the safety requirements and then we test the crane under load and make sure it is structurally OK and that all the proper safety devices work.
Regards,
Mike

Hi David. My sister-in-law lives in Cossall which might not be too far from you. There is a river walk there which I always take when I go. Don't know what it would be like this time of year, but my last walk there was June this year (Before I got hooked on photography) and I saw several species of waterfowl, 2 buzzards, 1 adder, 1 bullfinch and a variety of common birds. If my gaff is not too far, you are always welcome. I am on my own all day, and whilst my moorland walks are relatively tree-less, they are wild and fresh. Whatever you choose, have a great weekend, and let me know if you fancy visiting. Beware though, I think the forecast is not great. PAUL

God bless for now. PAUL

When I right click on it in the thread, the image properties showed that it was from DPS, so I thought there was a way to get a picture uploaded without using a site like Photobucket and without it being a thumbnail (when I attach images from my HD, it shows up as the thumbnail that has to be clicked on. Thanks for the response though!
