I'm sure I will shoot film again, you know, when that feeling hits. I think I have a few years on you in age, (I'm 44), so I have a few rolls under my belt..lol. I got my first slr at about 12. Don't read too much into that. I have had the active periods and the in-active ones, and mostly it's been a serious hobby, for my enjoyment first and foremost. It's been a little over a year now since going digital with my first dslr.

It might be time to ask about grandpa's camera. You have established yourself as a photographer, I think it would be cool to shoot with it. No better way to honor a camera in my opinion.

Looking forward to seeing your next results!

thanks very much!, i'm going to put some serious thought into the next roll... I saw darkmans stuff... its very good.. man.
i feel inspired to use hotlights and do some real film noir... IE.. on film

go for it.. rattle off a roll of film again. i'm sure it wil bring a new perspective.. or at least revive what was there before. i really liked it. never had a film slr before but it was great fun.

my dad still has my grandads old film camera...dont know what brand but i remember being threatened with sure death if i tried to touch it again.. lol i should see if i can talk him into giving it to me.

I saw your thread with the b&w film and the rest on Flickr...nice work! That film was the last rolls I shot before making the digital leap. It's still available here in the States...now you got me thinking...hmmm...lol. Check out the work by DPS member 'Darkman'.
