Default grandma's orchid

grandma's orchid

This is one of my macro shots when I got my dslr. I just took it from my grandma's garden. I'm just wondering why the color of the flower isn't that sharp. Would appreciate all your comments and suggestions...

Nikon D3000
50mm F/1.8D
Focal Length: 50mm
Aperture: F/2.5
Shutter Speed: 1/160s
ISO Sensitivity:I SO 100

Did you try increasing the vibrance in photoshop?
