Default Green Stink Bug

This guy makes me smile everytime I look at him. His head looks like a smiley face.

Another headshot macro. I tried to include a little more body on this one. What do you think of the crop/composition? I know I wish the very tip of his mouth (?) was in the DOF but alas, it wasn't deep enough.

I hear what you say about the mouth, and OK. But it doesn't detract from the big picture. The eyes - both real and psuedo- are the central feature, and these are perfect. Does it really stink? PAUL

It looks really good, although would it be possible to put that little guy on a darker background? I think that might make him pop a bit more, but still, a great photo! amazing color!

DoF is fine IMO, but the focus length is just a little too long to bring the mouth into focus.

Lighting and angle is great - nice work.
