Default daisy, composition :)

Please give me your opinion and advice about composition and issues in this photo.
I like my daisy, but not sure why, maybe because it was beautiful day when I took this photo... It simply puts smile on my face

Photo is cropped a little bit.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

I will have a go at commenting although I must admit to not knowing as much as alot of other members.

First of all the shot is nice I do like it, but probably for Macro work it isnt close in enough the depth of field is nice though. So the only thing would say is it could have been took closer in or cropped tighter to show more of the flowers detail off.

I agree with above statement. Not close enough. The blurred flower on the right is really aggravating my eyes, I would crop that out. I would try zooming in a little and cropping most everything else out of the shot.

Since two of you agreed, it means you’re right... I cropped it, and here it is…

Looks much better. Unfortunately now it is a little unbalanced but better than the alternative. Composition is something that takes awhile to learn. You can go by the rule of threes but even then there are times to break those rules. It is trial and error all the way. In the beginning I would find a subject to photo and take it from multiple angles and pick the one that pleased me the most afterwards. But all in all you are the artist and just because someone may not agree with a particular approach of a shot there may be someone else that absolutely loves it. I also recommend that if you don't already have one getting a tripod. It is just about imperitive for all types of photography. You can only do so much without one. Keep shooting, and the more you will learn.

It is unbalanced, I agree ... I wasn't satisfied with this cropping when I did it ... but..

learning learning and trying!

Thank you craigmstevens for your words!
