![]() I noticed a flower in front of our house that I usually miss. It was just after mid-day and the bright sun above created a nice photo-op. (although I was cramped for space.) And there was this insect (I'm just going to call it a bee) to boot! I haven't processed this shot, and I'm looking for tips. The shadow at the bottom right has to go, right? Too bad the bee appears fuzzy . This was taken in Av mode. I later changed to manual, and made the shutter speed sufficiently fast to get a couple of other images with the bee clearly in focus. A larger version can be found here. Thanks for looking.

jiminy's right....a little exif goes a long way here....especially with this image....
knowing what your settings were could tell us better what oversaturated your color and how best to avoid it in the future.....i'm thinking it was that sun so bright and that your camera read for the entire scene and threw your flower into overdrive..... and yes....crop out that shadow... thanks for sharing.....i know that you're proud..... ![]() peeper |

Oops...this was taken in manual mode. The shutter was just not fast enough. If it helps, I had set the white balance to Day Light and the colour accent to Vivid.
Here's the EXIF... (taken from Flickr, of course) Quote:
