Arrow Close-up shots with the telephoto lens

    Interesting change to the forum...

    Anyway... Here's my post:-

I'd normally shoot macros/close-up with my 50mm f.2.5 compact macro... but these were taken with my 70-200 f/4L IS. Just wanted to test how it performs... Kinda nice...

    Kemuncup

This last shot doesn't really fits the 'macro/close-up' category...

Great Set Sparda! I have the same 70-200mm F/4.0 lens, I sometimes use it with the 1/4 extender for close ups as well. I've taken some nice Dragon fly shots using it.
I love your dragon fly shot, well composed. I like the last one as well. I expect we will get some cross overs in the new forums. I don't much like the change, but perhaps after awhile I'll get used to it.
    Thanks for sharing these

Your DoF in these shots its terrific and the detail that you were able to capture in the dragonfly shot is out of this world. Very, very well done!

I love them all, Sparda, especially that last one. Beautiful lighting and DOF. Don't worry, we'll all get used to this new SYS soon!

Stunning macros and wonderful colour. I like them all - and I like the low down aspect and focus of the last one.
