Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
I recently purchased a Pentax--Optio W80 to take macro pics of the flyz I tie for my fly fishing excursions, the trout I hope to catch, and the beautiful scenary in the mountains of North Carolina or where ever I might happen to be fly fishing. And, obviously, I intend to use the camera to take general interest pics as well. My question: can anyone point me to a tutorial that might assist me with macro picture taking with the type camera I have purchased. While I would like to think I could spend hours on end conversing here and I do plan to learn from and share with the fine people in this forum, I am also finishing up my MPA and will be pretty well focused on my classes until graduation. Thus the request for a potential quick fix, to begin with. I also realize that the chance that theree is a tutorial, specific, to my camera and macro picture taking is probably slim to none--but it never hurts to ask I figure. Anyway, thanks in advance for the help anyone might provide to me. Respects to all! Mark H. Bowen --a/k/a-- Op (pronounced-- Ōp) :~^ ) |

A couple of pics I took this evening.
If they appear that is? Okay they did appear! The yellow and white fly is a Pale Morning Dun and the larger and darker fly is a Traditional Adams. Both are Dry Flyz I use locally to catch wild trout in the Mountains streams of NC. Mark Last edited by Mark H. Bowen; 12-31-2009 at 01:48 AM. Reason: Add additional info and correct spelling |
