I took this yesterday morning, Minolta 50mm manual focus lens, approximately 40mm extension tube, some is added by the no glass adapter to my Sony A200. I was testing a DIY continuous ring light.
![]() The ring light consists of an 80mm LED "Angel Eyes" bought on EBAY, glued to a 77mm step up ring and powered by a 9V battery. It looks like this: ![]() Using step up rings, I can fit the light ring to any of my lenses. I think, on my next day off, I might connect two batteries in series to see how much light I get with 18V. Since the LED rings are only $5 USD, I don't mind experimenting with them. Using the Angel Eyes was not my idea, but I have not seen it mounted to the lens. Feel free to ask any questions, I would be glad to help where I can. Phil

wow..nice sir,but..it will be more great if you can give more focus to the water on the clover, because since you used a ring flash, the water will look very stunning with the light reflect from your ring flash..but,its just my opinion sir.
you already did a good job here

Thanks, I should have been paying more attention to the photo, but was just trying to hold still enough to keep what I had in focus. It is not a flash, continous led lights.
Phil
