Default 50mm w/Extension Tube Flower

I saw this little plant in the backyard, had to go get my extension set.

I thought the DOF would be less that it turned out. I was, an am, experimenting with some relitively inexpensive macro gear. This was taken with a Minolta manual 50mm lens, with extension tubes mounted with an adapter on my Sony A200. I use a 'macro' adapter, so the lens will not focus to infinity, but there is no glass element to distort the image.

I have aquired more gear, and will be posting photos of the equipment and results. I have another post, http://digital-photography-school.co...tml#post818144 using a bellows and 100mm lens.
