Default Dragonfly. Extreme macro...

Taken with canon 350D and 18-55mm lens. This was taken about a year ago and i think i used a tube that was about 25mm...

Wow! Very nice. How did you get it to stay still for you? I find dragonflys very wary.

I chased the dragonflys for a while. Everyday for a couple weeks. Got a few pics but nothing worth keeping. Then one day my daughter was going to take her van for a ride and when she opened the door she screamed. I was nearby and asked what was wrong she said a big bug was sitting on her seat. I went and looked and said don't scare it i'm going to get my camera. A couple secs later i was taking pics of it, i moved in closer and kept taking pics and then when i finally got this close it gave me a sec to press the shutter then it took off...
