Excellent shot! Focus and DOF are especially nice. I like to find out what my subject is. Any idea as to what the flower is?

altho this is a realy wonderful shot of a flower, (love the crystal look to it) it is just that, I great picture of a flower. (trust me, I do a lot of these) It lacks composition. Every picture shuold tell a story of some sort. make the viewer look at and it should remind them of a story all thier own. Sometimes a diferent angle will make all the difference or more or less of a background.

As a newbie, I'm still exploring this forum and saw your African daisy in this thread. Hope I am not out of order but here is another daisy one I took a while ago on my Canon. Possibly a little contrasty but I like the centre detail.
