Default Botanical Garden Bulb

Hi all. This is my first post of a macro that I took at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. I like the bloom, but I think the shot would be better with a darker background.

Any critique is appreciated.

jsklinger,

A good vignette will help with this one, and for a new photo, some diagonal positioning and a shape shadow (to create more roundness) will help to add interest. Good choice of subject.
