Default How to improve reflection

Warm Reflections

I used a piece of plexyglass with a dark blanket under it. I am going to try it with black paper under so hoping it will not look so grainy. I tried doing a relflection shot on a mirror but I could not get it right. What is another inexpensive set up?

Well, it looks great to me. Wish you would have posted the mirror version. Sounds interesting. Will watch out for the black pepper vrsion too. Can't beat a bit of experimentation. Thanks for this. PAUL

I have a coffee table at my hunting camp that has a "smoked glass" mirror top on it. for a really nice reflection, perhaps you could look for a smoked mirror, or use a regular mirror, with some sort of filter on top to get the color you want.

I've used black paper under a piece of glass for similar effects. Also, since you're dealing with a reflection, you can sometimes change the look and the effect by placing different colors of poster board above the setting (outside of the camera view).
