Yum... are they spearmint and cinnamon? Christmas gumdrops are so tasty

As far as the photo goes, did you take any where they weren't in the bowl? The bowl doesn't really add anything for me, but the gumdrops are nice and sharp. Plus they're interesting on their own.

What gear are you using for your macro shots?

Yummmmm!

I don't mind the bowl in the photo, but maybe a shot without the reflection on the bowl.

This photo has totally gotten me into the Christmas spirit! It would make a great holiday desktop wallpaper

Thanks for sharing!!

I think the photo is great. Reminds me of being a kid and eating those things with my grandfather. We used to split them up. Not sure if I got the red or the green though . . .

Technically speaking, I like where the bowl puts the gumdrops in the photo, but not the color of the bowl. Maybe PS it to a different, more neutral color or if you re-shoot just use a white bowl?

Either way, thanks for the holiday memory.

you know....I was wondering if the bowl was competing with the candy
thanks for clearing that up for me...

ChristmasCandy

I as well have fond memories of this candy...unfortunetly...the older you get
the sugar doesn't turn to memories.....so I enjoy them this way.

keep the Christmas spirit alive.

shot with a Canon 20D

I really like it without the bowl. Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I think that it really stands out now Very nice.

i think maybe a different angle would work, even with part of the bowl showing - a little higher?
