Nice work on capturing the butterfly. There is one thing that I think could be better though, and that is the color of the flower. To me it looks a bit overexposed/unrealistic. I have seen the same thing on some of my macro photos when shooting dark insects on that color flower in bright light, and I guess its something that has sort of "ruined my shot" on more than one occasion, because it looked great in the camera, and not so great on the screen.

I have problems finding butterflies who will stick around long enough for me to get photos...I have no problem with flies and such...they are interesting as well but I'd rather have some 'pretty' in my pictures sometimes. One thing about macro photography is you see things in a whole different way and it makes you think twice about these little creatures underneath our feet
![]() Who would have guessed that butterflies had wings like chenile?

Perfect focus, perfect exposure, but I feel your shots could be improved by shooting from a better angle, a three quarter frontal shot for instance, Go out and take some more Sai, we will be watching.

1. Your aperture, Larger Aperture (i.e smaller f value) give u a blurred background. 2. Distance between u & the Subject. Closer u r to teh subject, greater is the blur. Hope it helps |
