Default Macro Photography Suggestions?

I want to try macro photography but i dont know what to shoot? Anybody have any ideas?

I find that flowers generally make for a nice macro shot. They are a good starting point.

Try to be original. I swear if I see one more picture of a freakin bee.......

Sometimes everyday object seen in a new way are interesting. Things you use all the time but don't really take a closer look at.

Flowers, coins, stamps, the details of just about any part, bugs and insects, etc., et., etc...

One thing to do is simply put your macro rig togather and walk outside for a few minutes. After a few minutes you'll start seeing things in a different way. You have to get down on your knees sometimes and look really close. Lot of still life/gadget opportunities in the garage too.. Have fun, it's addicting.
