Default Frozen water

Its that time of year up here in Alaska where liquids become solid
So I went out and took some pictures of frozen water droplets.

All taken with my 100-400 with 68mm of extension tubes, and all but the last one were taken with my 380EX

Interesting shots! What is the last item? When you are using your 100-400mm lens with the extension tubes, what focal length are you using? Have you compared the same subject shot without the extension tubes and enlarging the image to the same size? You must be losing some light with the extension but I don't know how much it is affecting your exposure value. How close were you to your subjects? Thanks for posting these. Stay warm!

Last item is the F on the F-250 on my truck.
100mm, works best at that.
Here I compared with and without, and as you can see, cropping wouldn't stand a chance.
Yeah, it does make it quite a bit darker. Difference between 1/20th and 1/200th in one case.
Less than a foot, probably about 5-8 inches.

And I will, thanks.

Thanks. I never would have guessed the letter. I took a look at your before and after images. Quite a difference.

Yeah, they surprised me. I'm impressed with them.
