Default A Few Insects









All of these were taken with Canon 50D and 100mm f2.8 macro using a 430EX flash. All comments and/or questions are welcome. I'm calling the second one "Preening Mantis."

Great shots!! Were you hand holding the camera or was it one a tripod? I alays seem to scare the bugs away.

Thanks. These were handheld. For the second one I actually got the mantis to sit on my left hand while I took pictures with my right.
