Also what exactly do you mean by using your 50 mm backwards for macro ?

Well first off i would like to say. "no one try this, unless you are prepared to risk damage to your camera, lens or both" alright now that thats out of the way. I take my 50/1.8 and put it on my camera, then i stoped down the aperture. Next i press the aperture preview button, and hold it down. Then proceed to remove it from my camera. Next i focus it to infinity. Then hold it backwards from the way i would normaly attach it to my camera, and then move the lens back and fourth in between my body and the subject until i find some focus. Set up shot, fine tune, shoot.

Its just a trick i learned from a friend of mine, i believe they sell adapters for doing such a thing. Ive also seen a tutorial on using a pringles can and a little work to create a similar effect .... maybe i will try this later i have extra covers.
