Talking Macro Dandelion

I was playing around today with the Macro function on my Nikon 24-85mm and I found this one lonely little dandelion beggin me to take its picture So I did...

I am not sure if any of you have this lens, but I am totally stoked about it! It is really sharp and I think the Macro works really well. Not super super close, but cool for an extra function of an already nice lens!

Excellent photo! I love the way you captured the seeds being blown from the plant. The composition is lovely, also.

This is a great shot. The clarity of the shot is great, and the focus is spot on (something I found difficult with dandelions when they're seeding. Love the way you've caught a few parachutes on their way.

Well done!

That is an amazing shot.

I took one recently and here is my attempt. It was all done on auto but since reading the hints and tips in this section I plan to go out experimenting.
