I took this one last summer in my garden. I loved the colors and it just feels like summer

The flower is Lantana, grows great here in GA. Tolerates heat and drought conditions well!!

I'd blur the greenery a bit. Make that monster bee the spot focus! Great shot!

Nice capture with lovely colors. It looks like you focused on the green leaves to the left rather than on the flower and bee. That might take some of the attention away from the bee. Perhaps you could crop a little off the left side.

Those little buggers are hard to capture as they do their thing...very nice!

I'm assuming this lens was in the 200mm+ range...?

bees and any bugs are really hard to capture. When doing a macro shot the main focus is the bug, so why not really focus on the bug and crop nearly everything else out?
My opinion was always the macro shots are so that you can see what the naked eye normally would not be able to see. So when doing that sort of shot I always try to remeber that and really exaggerate that focal point
