Default Drops of Rain

Decided to snap some pictures after a long day of rain. =]

After the Rain

Are the flowers in the background too distracting?
Is the focus on the right leaf?
Let me have it! =D

Oops I thought this was the critique section. My bad. =/

Nice work, jackie. It is raining right now outside, so I might try something like this after it stops, hopefully before dark.

Yes, the flowers are very distracting. I find my eye drawn more to the flowers, especially the one that is almost in focus, than the drops on the leaves. I think it is the splash of colour that is more distracting rather than the actual flowers themselves. Could you maybe mask them out or PP them to B&W? It might improve the image and let the viewers see what you want them to see, i.e., the drops of rain.

I personally don't find the flowers too distracting, my eye immediately went to that center leaves with the rain Great shot, nice and crisp.

I agree, the flowers really aren't distracting. It may look better with the flowers blurred but its a good shot as is.

Thumbs up Lovely

I don't think the flowers are too distracting. I think they add a nice punch of color to the photo. I agree that it might be better to blur the flowers a bit, but I think the color of the flowers is important to the overall photograph.

Default Cool

I think it came out great. Although there are flowers in the background, they add to color. Very nice shot of rainy leaves.
