Default My first macro shots with filter

I just received my macro filters and couldn't wait to try them out. Have to say it is hard to focus properly when you are jumpy from excitement!

Also i am new so if i have done anything wrong please tell me nicely Thanks

They are all beautiful images, but I love the last one! Awesome captures. Did you take these with your 50 and the filters?

Off to find those filters!

When you say "filters", do you mean an adapter lens that give you close-up capability with your existing lens or is your lens actually a macro lens and these "filter" help to highlight something?

ie. I have a Nikon D50 and I use a Raynox close-up adapter with several of my standard (non-macro) lenses in order to get macro capability.

Just curious and trying to understand your setup.

Nice shots by the way. I like the ant in #2.

The first thing you said. Adapter lens? I didn't know the formal name of them and other places refer to them as filters so i just went along with that

Loved the way you played around with those water drops. Simple pictures can indeed be one of the best ones.
