I moved your thread to Macro Photography because Critique asks you to do a little more work to post there. Here's a link: Critique Forum Rules Have you considered a diagonal composition? Most of the time, just tilting the camera can add interest unlike either a vertical or horizontal lineup. The curve of the bottom would lend itself to an "opposite corner" alignment. If that still doesn't do it for you, add the slightest vignette on the perimeter, either dark or light. Dark focuses attention to the center; light is sort of dreamy, foggy, surreal.
