Default First nice flower?

I am new to photography and thought this was a good shot for one of my first serious shots. How could it have been improved?

Four o'clock

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 51 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/2 EV

You might want to PM one of the mods and ask them to move it for you.

Thanks for your help. I'm still learning how this all works. I posted myself. I didn't know it could be moved. Thanks again.

It is quite okay but the wilted flower on the bottom-left is quite disturbing. Try switching to another angle so that it blocks off the flower, or just focus on the bloomed flower and blur the other.

I have just bought the Rebel XSI - I learnt on a Canon S3IS and with the Rebel I am still learning... I would LOVE to invest in a new lens 70 - 300mm - I am holding off for now until I learn this camera better and what it can do... I agree with Skipjack about the wilted flower... change the angle of the shot but sometimes you can't get away from the imperfection of something... anyway... my personal opinion... get use to the camera first and then decide the type of photos you like to take and invest in the lens. Have fun taking photos... I am really getting into it of late...
