Default Somewhere between closeup and macro...

Took this on my Nikon D50 with a combination of 50mm lens at f8 and a Raynox closeup adapter at 1/450sec I think. The bee was less than 1cm long (which is good because I'm very allergic). Only post process was for cropping and a slight deepening of shadow. Loving this "nifty" new lens.

Nice capture, focus looks sharp and DoF is sufficient for the subject (bee). I don't know if is my monitor (office computer) but the image looks too dark.

i love this.......the bee (although i hate them they do make great subjects to shoot) is sharp and the flower almost glistens.. the hint of pink with the yellow makes a nice combination.

Slightly too dark. A hair brighter = more happy.

Why is it that everyone who shoots close in on a bee is usually allergic!

Great shot!

Nice and sharp, agree it is a little on the dark side.

BTW - what is a Raynox closeup adapter - and what does it do.
