I have a need to take pictures of very small items, buttons and beads. I use a Canon Powershot A75. I am thinking of adding a lens to help get closer shots. Canon sells 3 addons and I am confussed as to the best option. Should I use either the; WC-DC52 0.7x Wide Angle Lens, or the TC-DC52 Tele Converter Lens, or is it best to use the 250D 52mm Close Up Lens, I understand that I will need a LA-DC52 converter. I am interested in which of the above will give me the best macro shot. I want the item to be as realistic as possible but blown up to show the details of the item.

The wide and tele converters won't help you with macro. The close-up lens will. But the quality won't necessarily be that high. Depending on your budget, you might want to think about a DIY rig with a reversed SLR lens (Canon's EF 50mm f/1.8 is $85 and a reversal ring is $8 on Adorama). Or just using a magnifying glass between your subject and the camera lens (which is what the close-up lens is).

If it's just for reversal on a P&S and you don't plan on upgrading to an SLR, it seems a bit wasteful to get an EF lens. You could probably pick up a used FD or FL lens for much cheaper. If you're fast, you can easily find it on ebay for just over $10 shipped. This way, you'll also have control over aperture of the lens, and probably an easier time focusing since it's a manual-focus lens. (EF is autofocus, but only when you put it on the right way. Your camera's AF will probably have a hard time as well at such close distances.)
Or if you want to go crazy you could even flip a pancake lens- it'll keep the camera nice and light, but you're looking into the triple-digits there. My $0.03.
