Default Blue Flower from the hill country

blue flower

This flower is only about 1.5" wide. All sorts of alternate realities come to mind when I look at its different components.

shellypain,

Welcome back! Are your alternate realities using a macro lens? This is really sharp and richly colored. Good to see something other than Bluebonnets from the hill country. Beautiful shot.

The central portion looks like an animal with horns to me.
Or a woman with an Elizabethan collar.

Yes, there are other blue flowers in Texas besides Bluebonnets.

What part of the Texas hill country do you reside in?
