Default Red tulips

Finally we have flowers other than daffodils blooming. Is it just me or are these really red? Is there some sort of processing to fix that?

I like that they are so red. You can take down the red saturation if you don't like it though.

I've seen that before with shots with bright reds. Even though the eye can detect different red values it's as if the sensor just recorded them at one red value and blended it. I would try shooting it again but experiment with the exposure and see the effect. What where you using to shoot them?

Wow! I think they're beautiful and eye-popping (and a bit orange-ish to me!). I like them as is.

Default SO much pink

Is the pink too much, or is it just me. Actually I think it turned out OK considering my equipment.

If you are shooting JPEG's set the camera image parameter to faithfull instead of standard so you can get more normal saturation.

The standard setting applies quite a bit of sharpening and saturation to the image to make it "punchier". In faithfull all parameters are set to 0, you can always add a bit more of either if you want with a post processing program.
