Need advise on lens

I love to shoot macro but I need some advise with some new lens.
I am shooting with a Pentex K100dS. I used a Sony Mavica with screw on lens and shot ok macro photos.
With my Pentex I have a 70-300mm with marco, 28-70mm with macro sigma lens. My question is which of the two would be better to shoot macro? I have shot with both but the reasons was it was what lens I had on at the time and I did not have time to switch.

i will choose 28-70 because of the multi purpose lens. 70-300 is designed for telephoto shot range..

range 28-70 will be more oftenly used for me.

do you like to shot bird/candid photo? if yes then go for the 70-300.

well neither of those lenses are a true macro as they will not produce a 1:1 ratio. However to answer your question as to which would be better for what you are wanting to do then I think the 70-300 will better suit your purposes. The reason being that you can zoom in more on your subject.
