Default Macro effects with glycerin

I am looking for some "How To's" that I have seen in the past but can't find them anymore. Basically you take an object that is about the size of a #2 pencil eraser and put it on a white plate, place saran wrap over the top of the plate and then make a mixture of glycerin with water and spray it onto the saran wrap which makes bubbles. When you take a picture of your object through the bubbles it makes it look like a bajillion little objects which provides a really cool effect.

I need help to find one of those examples or How To's, can't seem to get the effect to work if anyone has done this effect or knows where a How To is, can you please share? I may have some of the details wrong but gave the general sense of what the effect creates.

Thanks,

Never heard of it. But sounds like you already know what you are doing. Why don't you go try it and see what works and what doesn't work. What can be improved the next time you try it?

This is along the lines that you've mentioned. I think the final effect is what you're after.
