Default memory

I got a lovely feather of pigeon last week. Late afternoon sunshine and a water drop - produced below refraction.

MEMORY

Little worried about the overexposed area in left and right bottom corners. but i liked the refraction effect I got. I used close-up lense for my Sony-DSC H2 and below setting:

Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 72 mm
ISO Speed: 80

Palachandra,

Your technical knowledge is now matched by your "eye" for the fascinating viewpoint. If you cropped in on both sides and top, you'd still have a unique look, without the distractions (which aren't bad). Good work, again.

Really excellent catch, and a wonderful idea. Now I'm going to have to start carrying a water bottle around in my camera bag.

Great catch! The refraction from the drop is intense, it doesn't look like a water drop at all.
