Default A Jumble of Autumn Leaves

A Jumble of Autumn Leaves

Don't the colours of Autumn just inspire you to want to brave the
ever-fresh, chilled air, get outside and let your eyes be saturated by
its stunning palette of warm colours? (BTW - for those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere, there's NOTHING quite as spectacular as Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere - quite something to experience).

I like it. The colors are soft and the focus is sharp. Now, why is it that autumn is more colorful in the southern hemisphere?

Wink Another southern hemisphere autumn leaf!

Autumn is spectacular here in Australia. Another example:

First brilliant autumn leaf, and more...

[even though this tree is not a native!

Since they're upside down, the color drains out the tops of the trees where the leaves are.

I like the shot, especially the colours, but unfortunately I'm driven to give some constructive criticism, even if it's only my point of view

When I first looked at the shot I didn't know where to lay my eyes at. I was unable to find a point that would catch my attention, and therefore I was left drifting with my eyes, not being able to concentrate on the picture itself.
Uhh.. hope you understood my point, I'm reeeally tired as I'm writing this :-)

Hello slforster,
I had no problem seeing the diagonal leaf just above center. It's color is eye catching and drew me right in. I like this photo. Have a good day.
