I have a set of diopter lenses and I am planning the next step up.

The DCR-250 is great and only let down by the weakness of the plastic clip on the adaptor ring (my first one broke after about six months of fairly heavy usage; I haven't used the replacement much since getting my 90mm lens which has macro facility built in); I haven't used the CM-3500 set but it looks like that gives you a range of lenses, probably with greater magnification (although, from the Raynox website, I note that this set is discontinued).

What diopters have you got at the moment?

1+ 2+ 4+ 10+ they work quite well in the right lighting but CA can be an issue, the 10+ is not as useful as it distorts anything but the center.

Looking at the Cm-3500 it appears to be a smaller diameter so maybe touchy on zoom level.
I shot this tonight with the +4 on my Fuji S5600, straight out of the camera.
I will PP and rotate this later.
