Default the end of a long thorn

spring is here and at the end of a long prickly thorn a flower has come out. Makes you feel philosophic about what waits at the end of a long hard journey

Didn't notice the reddish branch on the right in the background and it's to near to crop out, which means I still have some thorns on my way to a good composition

What settings did you have your camera on?

Olympus user, Fuji E900, a canon & last but not least a Minolta 35mm and some really old large format box cameras.Not to mention a whole bunch of other stuff. Paint Shop Pro X3, CS3,CS5, Portrait Professional, Topaz Adjust, Lucis Art and the list goes on........

Nice shot. I like the idea of focusing on the thorns. We have a lot of that flower where I live, they are very popular now. Actually I took a shot of one of those today. Maybe I should post it.

That plant looks menacing. I don't like the idea of graving it by mistake.

OH!.. and another question, what kind of camera did you used?
