Default Macro Tubes

I have a Nikon 60mm Macro Lens. For Christmas a friend of mine gave me a set of macro tubes. I am really just getting into macro photography so I have some questions.

Can I use the tubes with the macro lens? The other question I have is can I use them with my zoom lenses? I have an 18-70mm and a 70-300mm.

You should be able to use them with any lens. Experiment and I think you'll have lots of fun.

They will work with most lenses. The fun part is the experimenting, they can be a little bulky and cumbersome to handle. Hope you have a sturdy tripod to assist your trials.

Well, I guess I have to attach those tubes and photograph things. Dallas Arboretum is having an show the next couple of weeks. Bound to be some opportunities. One thing I noticed about Nikon digital is a lot of camera vibration so any close up work I do is with a tripod or mono-pod
