mucking around with macro lens

I was playing around outside today with my macro lens while it was still sunny.

Snapped these little flowers. Each one is about 3-4mm across. I love them because they look like little ice-cream cones!



ISO: 400
Exposure: 1/250 sec
Aperture: f/5.6

What do you think? Am I on the right track for with my macro lens?

Those are beautiful. You might consider cropping the picture to remove most of the blank space.

It's already cropped a bit. Maybe some more, but not too much. I quite like the open feel.

THe share your shots threads are really just for that....to post a photo so others can see it.....something you are proud of or do not have any problems with.
