Default how to capture exact hair color

I have about 30 different colors of human hair samples. I want to take a close-up photo with the following goals:
1. capture as exact as possible the colors of the hair. This is for an oline shop so customers can choose the color of hair they want to buy.
2. the picture should be as close-up as possible while capturing the exact hair color so customers can feel the hair from the picture.

I have the following equipments.
- camera Nikon 80 with AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm.
- a small Photography box with about 5000K
- Tripoid

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Here's the problem you may be faced with...what colors you see on your monitor is probably going to be somewhat different to what other people will see on their monitors. If exactness of color is critical you will probably run into this issue with the colors. Colors, saturation, contrasts will vary from display to display.

Autofocus is right. But you really should balance your monitor before you post pros the shots.

As for the shooting, use your photo box and be sure to white card and set the balance in your camera.

when shooting samples, include a gray scale beside the sample that can be cropped in the final image.
