.... larvae!
my first post - I hope I have followed all the rules OK ![]() This is an image I took of a dragonfly larvae using a manual nikor 50 mm lens. I think the aperture was F8. I was working with a small tank, I think this was the best - I love the red tipped fangs! I cropped into this - I could have cropped with the head on the right, but I think the looking back over its shoulder worked better - any comments? Camera Model: NIKON D70 Date/Time: 2003:09:29 21:04:51 Exposure Time: 0.0063 s (1/160) Aperture: f/1.0 - not recorded Whitebalance: Auto Metering Mode: center weight Exposure: Manual |

Yes, you've followed the rules... and, gosh, that's close. A scary beast, especially with the bloodly looking fangs!

thanks
I just had a look - about 70. They are not to bad as they tend to sit still once they have settled - it is much harder getting good shots some of the animals that move a lot. In all I was taking pictures of this animal for about 4 hrs (according to the time stamps!). I kept about 6 of them showing different parts of the animal. If people are interested I will post one or two of my other shots. |
