Default How does it look

This is my first ever shot that I am putting on this forum. No post processing is done on this pic other than the size change to upload on DPS.

rbashir,

Welcome, fellow Fuji FinePix owner! Ninety percent of what I know about the camera, I learned on DPS. Wondering if you shot flowers on a cloudy day with the Fuji? Looks like outdoor market grouping. Have you tried the Macro mode? Lots of fun!

Hi jiminyClickit

I didnt take this shot in a cloudy day, actually I was in a botanical garden inside the green house where I took this shot. I don't remember though if used macro or not, but I like the way it turned out. What is your fuji finepix model? I have S5100

rbashir,

Sunshine-shots most always have really strong color, so you were inside, out of sun. Try some shots brightly lit and notice the color difference.

I wondered about the Macro mode because I'm shopping for a new camera (currently using FP S3100) and wanted to compare. Also your photo is in the Macro photo thread. Fuji does pretty good really close, like just the center of one daisy.

Keep shooting!

I like this photo. I like that it is made up entirely from two colors: yellow and white.

P.S. I'm not a fuji owner

Nice shot with lots of bright yellow, which I like. Try Macro, it is the best for photographing flowers. Canon S3 guy here
